Course Guide

How to Enroll

OLLI offers approximately 300 courses each year in many different areas such as history, art and architecture, science, business/economics/finance, and world cultures, just to name a few. Courses typically meet once per week for eight weeks in the fall, six weeks in the winter, seven weeks in the spring, and four weeks in the summer. You must be an OLLI member to request/register for courses.

OLLI uses the Course Allocation Model for registration, not “first come, first served.” First, members request courses. Next, an algorithm (or allocation) is run on courses with more requests than seats, and then members are notified of the courses in which they are enrolled. Finally, members may elect to enroll in more courses for which there is available seating. See the chart below for an overview of the Allocation Model.
